For the week of 9/14/26 – Construction crews will be working between E 18th Ave and E 24th Ave.

Crews will be on site to begin removing the existing striping and will start to install new striping later in the week. Traffic will be reduced to one lane on the side of the road opposite the work zone.

• Adams from W 6^th Ave to W 5th Ave parking is closed on the west side of Adams St and from the W 5th Ally north on the east side of Adams St.
• W 5th Alley is closed from Monroe St to Adam St.
• Pedestrian traffic on the east side of Adams St is closed at the W 5th Alley and on the south side of W 5th Ave from Adams to midblock heading towards Monroe St.
• Pedestrians traveling west on the south side of W 5th St are to detour to the northside of W 5th Ave at Monroe St. Mid bock closures exist on the south sidewalk on W 5th Ave.
• Eastbound bike lane on W 5th Ave is closed between Adams St just past the construction site. Bicyclists are encouraged to detour north on Adams St to W 4th Ave travel east to Monroe St then south to W 5th Ave to avoid construction activities.

For the week of 9/14/26, Prairie Road will be closed to all traffic from Hwy 99 to Maxwell Rd. The closure is anticipated to last approximately 4 weeks. Currently, Prairie Rd is single lane in each direction from Hwy 99 to Maxwell Rd. Please continue to watch for cones and signage as needed.

Monday 9/14/2026 through Friday 9/18/2026

• Installation of new storm, wastewater, electrical service connections, and surface improvements will affect portions of E 17th Ave, east of Agate St to Columbia St. E 17th Ave to Moss Ave, and portions of Columbia St and Columbia Alley through the summer of 2027.
• Detours for vehicular traffic will be set at Agate St, E 17th Ave, Columbia St, Moss St, and E 19th Ave as work progresses.
• Pedestrian access will also be impacted and detoured on all affected streets during construction.
• Bike lanes will be closed and merged with shared use in traffic lanes on Agate St to the west and Moss St to the east.
• Please be aware of large trucks and equipment in the area while construction continues.

For the week of 9/14/26, construction crews will be on the south side of Broadway from Mill to Patterson, crews will be excavating the southernmost lane and pouring the new, widened sidewalk and curb/ gutter.

Crews will be working between 7am and 5pm. The lane configuration will remain the same with the right lane closed after 6^th Ave for south bound Coburg Rd/ viaduct travelers. Single lane from Mill St to Patterson St.

Currently, crews plan to work the evening of Wednesday, Sept 16^th. On that evening Broadway will be closed for southbound to eastbound traffic at 8^th Ave. At 8^th Ave, traffic will be detoured to Pearl St and then back to Broadway at the Mill St Intersection. Drivers may also choose to travel on 13^th Ave eastbound to avoid construction all together.

For the week of September 14^th, crews have finished paving and will be working on utility adjustments in the roadway. This work is scheduled to be completed by Friday the 18th, at which point all traffic detours will be removed.

During the week, two traffic detours will be in place during the utility adjustments. The first detour will reroute through traffic approaching from before Graham Drive to Lasater → Randy → 29th, returning to McKendrick Street and McLean Boulevard, and vice versa. The second detour will route Graham Drive traffic to Chambers Street via 28th Street.

This project will upgrade existing stormwater facilities by replacing concrete splash pads along Old Coburg Rd and will add new improvements in the form of stormwater planters. Concrete mow pads will also be installed in planters to improve ease of maintenance.

Crews have finished clean-up work and will now be waiting to return in the fall for planting/seeding.

For the week of September 13^th, crews will be installing a ramp and Santa Clara Ave & River Road intersection and installing the bus stops North of Santa Clara on River Road. Pedestrian detours will be in place at all closures to ensure safe crossings.

During the bus stop installations at Santa Clara Ave, a single lane of traffic will be closed north of Santa Clara Avenue during the day while the curb and gutter cure. Traffic will remain open in both directions using a single lane. No additional work requiring lane closures is expected outside of this nighttime work window.

South Garden Way – Monday 9/14/2026 through Friday 9/18/2026

• Median, driveway and walk removal and re-installation will affect traffic on South Garden Way from north of Kinsrow Ave to Commons Drive.
• Southbound lane to be closed . Flaggers will be detouring all traffic into the northbound lane while work is being done.
• Pedestrian access will also be impacted and detoured to the east walk on South Garden way
• The southbound Bike Lane will be closed. Bikes are to merge with all southbound traffic past the construction area.
• Northbound Bike Lane to remain open.

For the week of 9/14/26 – Crews will be working on Spring Creek Dr between River Rd and Awbrey Park Elementary School.

Crews have finished constructing all elements of the project and will now be returning to do any corrective or clean-up work.

For the week of Sept 14^th, the excavation work will continue on Crow Rd for the wastewater manhole and main pipe lines. The work will start at the intersection of Crow Rd and Hwy 126 (W 11^th). The crews will work west on Crow Rd. The pipe mainline is close to 30 ft deep, so the work is dangerous and slower than normal. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Due to the complexity of the work, Crow Rd will be closed east of La Porte to Hwy 126. Access to La Porte remains open but must be accessed via Greenhill Rd.

For the week of 9/14/26 – Construction crews will be working at E 23^rd and E 24^th Ave between Willamette St and Amazon Parkway, with some work occurring on Willamette St.

A lane shift will occur on Willamette St just south of the intersection at 24^th Ave, with southbound traffic being shifted into the center lane. The sidewalk will also be closed on the southwest corner of Willamette and 24^th Ave, with signs directing pedestrians where to cross.

For the week of 9/7/26, construction crews will be on Hilyard St from 40^th to 34^th Ave, Friendly St & 18^th area, 24^th Ave from Hilyard to Agate, and Alder from 30^th to 32^nd.

Crews will be wrapping up the project with clean up and minor corrections. You may see small striping corrections, concrete repairs, utility boxes being adjusted, permanent sign installations, and final landscaping. Please give the crews a safe distance. Signs and cones will help direct traffic. We are getting so close!

East Langell Valley Road will be reduced to one lane, then fully closed at the construction site as crews remove and replace the East Langell Valley Road over the Lost River bridge near Bunn Way.

2026 Slurry Seal - Lane County

Lane County will be replacing culvert on Big Creek Rd at M.P. 10.94. The road will be CLOSED from M.P. 12.434 to M.P. 8.933, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Construction work is expected to be completed by December 31, 2026. 

The portion of Buena Vista Rd between Talbot Rd and the Willamette River will be closed while Marion County Bridge Crews dry dock the Buena Vista Ferry. The closure is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 9th, 2026 at 8:00am. The date the road will reopen is currently TBD.

Mid-Valley Construction is constructing sidewalk ramps from July 1st through September.

Oregon State Bridge, on behalf of Marion County Capital Projects, will be closing the portion of French Prairie Rd NE located south approximately 1,000 ft. of the Mahony Rd NE/Highway 219 NE intersection.The closure is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 as early as 7:00 am

and end on Monday, November 30th, 2026 at 5:00 pm.

Because the bridge is being replaced this will be a hard closure. Local and emergency vehicles, as well as through traffic, will be required to use the approved detour.

K&E Excavating, on behalf of Marion County Capital Projects, will be closing the portion of North Fork Rd that lies approximately between House Mountain Rd and Multiclum Rd (MP 4.9 to MP 5.2). House Mountain Rd and Multiclum Rd will remain open through the closure. The closure will begin Monday, May 4th, 2026 at 7:00 am and end on Friday, October 30th, 2026 at 5:00 pm. Emergency services will be allowed through the closure until the road is completely excavated and rendered unsafe or impassible. The road is expected to be completely impassible for a period of approximately three weeks towards the end of the project, likely in October.

Marion County anticipates it will take two to three years to fully rebuild county parks following the Beachie Creek and Lionshead fires. We appreciate the public's partnership as we make the park safe for visitors.

Closure Mon-Sat 7am-6pm on Lusted Road. Through traffic will be detoured to Dodge Park Boulevard and Cottrell Road. Temporary signals and two-way traffic outside work hours.
