Pulling cold air from the interior. This will likely allow precipitation to fall as a wintry mix in portions of the Gorge ... The upper Hood River Valley ... And in sheltered valleys in the south Washington and north Oregon Cascades. This has the potential to cause significant travel issues beginning Tuesday night and continuing through Wednesday. ... Comments: Expect shoulder work and construction vehicles entering and leaving the highway within the work zone. Use caution. Project Summary: The I-5 Kuebler Interchange Project will address the increasing congestion at the interchange by modifying the existing southbound off ramp, which will decrease the conflicts at Kuebler that have caused back-ups on I-5 southbound. The new ramp will meet modern standards and contain excess capacity. The project will also add a westbound to southbound I-5 loop on ramp and modify the eastbound to southbound I-5 on ramp.

Details: I-5 SB Exit 252 ramp to Kuebler Blvd (Salem) Effective July 13, 2015, the I-5 SB Exit 252 off-ramp to Kuebler Blvd will be restricted to 14 feet 00 in. in width. Mobile homes with eaves are allowed provided the base width does not exceed 14 feet 00 in. in width. Estimated date of completion is December 31, 2015.
