Comments: Motorist should use caution as they approach Marine Drive from North Frontage. The right turn to Marine Drive has been shifted. The Marine Drive intersections at the Frontage Roads will also be improved. The right turn to Marine Drive has been shifted from the old ramp to a hard right at the signalized intersection. Drivers should yield to pedestrians at the new crosswalk. • Please exercise caution as large construction equipment may be operating in the right hand shoulder of this area, and entering traffic from the left side at the intersection. • Night time lane closures may occur on freeways and frontage roads as the contractor hauls material around the site, and temporary pavement markings are re-installed. Comments: Motorist should use caution as they approach Marine Drive from North Frontage. The right turn to Marine Drive has been shifted. The project will widen Marine Drive between the two frontage roads to allow for two-way traffic. It will also replace the existing I-84 overpass bridges at Marine Drive with a new bridge. The Marine Drive intersections at the Frontage Roads will also be improved. Traffic Impacts: Motorists should exercise caution and slow down as they approach Marine Drive from North Frontage Road (heading west). Lanes Affected: (Southbound) Median , All Lanes , Shoulder (Northbound) Median , All Lanes , Shoulder
Comments: I-5 sign replacement and paving project requires shoulder, lane, ramp and nighttime freeway closures on I-5 and on the Marquam and Fremont bridges. Project Description: The project will take place on Interstate 5 from Southwest Capitol Highway to North Lombard Street and will include: • Sign Replacement: Beginning in Spring*, many of the green highway signs on I-5 from Southwest Corbett Avenue to North Lombard Street and on both decks of the Fremont Bridge (I-405) will be replaced. Existing signs will be updated to meet federal standards; new signs will feature more reflective materials and a less cluttered design, making them easier to read. • Paving: Starting this spring/summer*, about seven miles of I-5 between Southwest Capitol Highway and the Marquam Bridge will be repaved. The pavement, last replaced in 2004, is deteriorating and needs to be repaired. Transitions to on- and off-ramps will also be repaved and improvements will be made to several bridges. * Construction is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2015, but work is weather dependent and dates are subject to change.

No to Minimum Delay; Construction Work
Comments: The I-5 bridge work over SW Hood Avenue in South Waterfront requires a 24-hour single lane closure on Hood Ave under the I-5 bridge through April 2015 Project Description: Construction is underway on a seismic retrofit project for five bridges along the Interstate 5 corridor between Portland’s South Waterfront district and the Tualatin River. Retrofitting the state’s older bridges to meet modern seismic specifications will help ensure I-5 would not be immobilized in the event Oregon experiences a powerful earthquake. Traffic Impacts: The I-5 bridge work over Southwest Hood Avenue in South Waterfront requires a 24-hour single lane closure on Southwest Hood Avenue under the I-5 bridge until approximately April 2015. Due to this lane closure, road users are not permitted to continue straight on Southwest Bancroft Street from Southwest Hood Avenue. All traffic on Southwest Hood Avenue will be required to either turn right or left on Southwest Macadam Avenue. A fully signed detour is in place directing road users back to Southwest Bancroft Street via Southwest Macadam Avenue, Southwest Curry Street and Southwest Moody Avenue.
