Details: I-5 MP 10.0 to MP 13.5 NB (Ashland) Effective April 19, 2016, this section of I-5 northbound will be restricted to 20 feet 00 in. in width. Loads wider than 20 feet 00 in. in width may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis. Contact the Over-Dimension Permit Unit for information. Estimated date of completion is June 27, 2016.

Comments: Construction continues on the Siskiyou Rest Area Welcome Center. The NB slow lane is closed, use caution, and watch for workers. The contractor is building a retaining wall south of Crowson Road, just east of the interstate bridge. Expect traffic controlled by flaggers on Crowson Road, with minor delays. This part of the project is building a gated access road for the facility staff.

Comments: Expect nighttime lane closures, as crews put in a temporary pedestrian walkway on the EB side of the Hwy, and removing concrete curb medians. This is the first phase of Hwy 62 Expressway project. During the day workers and equipment will be working off the roadway. All lanes will be open on Hwy 62 between 6 AM and 7 PM, Mon-Thur, and 6 AM to 10 PM Thur-Sunday. The Medco Haul Rd is closed to all traffic , including bicyclist and pedestrians.
