All lanes of I-5 south closed 24/7 through early October for highway surface replacement and structural repairs.

All lanes of I-5 S are closed beginning at Exit 302A to Broadway for highway surface replacement and structural repairs as part of the I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project. One lane is open on I-5 S from the I-405 junction to the Broadway Exit for local and event center access. On-ramps to I-5 S from Alberta St, Greeley Ave, I-405 N, and Wheeler Ave are closed. Access from I-5 S to I-84 E is closed. I-5 S is open where the I-84 W ramp merges to I-5 S. I-5 N is open at all times. We are working on a construction project to replace the aging bridge that carries I-84 east over McCord Creek near Warrendale through fall 2026. Traffic Impacts: No traffic impacts to I-84. Drill crews will be working on the Historic Highway State Trail under the I-84 Moffett Creek Bridges from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 21 - Sept. 23. The Historic Highway State Trail remains open but with narrow passage; expect flaggers directing trail users.
